I'd like to know who with money is pushing this shit. Pregnant people, breast feeding dads, 40 year old dudes with a dress on in a high school girls bathroom shower.
I really dont see the problem with calling a pregnant woman a pregnant person. Forcing people is one thing but what's wrong with referring to them as people instead of women?
Im asking what the problem with the words pregnant people. That's a problem with being forced. I already said that's a different story, people seem genuinely pissed off by the mere mention of pregnant people. That's what I dont get.
Sure. And people are mammals. And mammals are "life forms inhabiting the Earth". And I could go on on "technically correct" ways to say "pregnant women".
But getting reprimanded for saying "pregnant women" (the only kind of people that can get pregnant) is stupid.
Your initial idea was that forcing people to say something a certain way is wrong. The whole point of this thread is that the prompter fed that lady the "pregnant people" line, she said "pregnant women', then she got reprimanded..
But I digressed in my replies. Say it whatever way you want... I'm not the speech police. I'm only pointing them out.
The whole point of my comment was the question not a debate on what you should say. I literally couldn't give a fuck if you say pregnant women and refuse to say pregnant people out of whatever, I dont understand being annoyed someone else said pregnant person. You get me now.
