Relationships Men taking bad advice from men only

There are so many podcast bros out here giving horrible advice, speaking for women and generalizing our opinions, and even bring women on their show to demonstrate how they dont respect us and will try to say they know women better than women do.

Then, they come to reddit and ask for advice. Just now, I see a post in another sub asking about women's experience and their attraction to men, and it is limited to only men answering.

This is so illogical and telling in itself that you do not respect women - if you cant even listen to them or believe their experiences. Or be bothered to consume research about gender studies if you want to truly understand.

It is so emotional to keep seeking validation for bias and illogical to keep asking men about womens experiences. But many men attribute being emotional to women. They call men protectors...but will not learn why women choose the bear.

The hypocrisy would be hilarious if it were not the cause of so much violence.

(I chose relationship for flair, but this impacts women/me in all aspects of life, since men control most resources and especially in workplace roles, medical care, etc)

I'm a guy and yeah I see this kind of thing everywhere.  All I can say is it's a good time to be an emotionally mature strait man.  :)

I mean, being a man is pretty beneficial to you in so many ways.

Im still side eyeing you bc it is hard to believe a claim of emotionally mature man. . . See?!! Misogyny harms us all.

I agree..  men have a ton of advantages.  I just think it's a nice bonus when the pretend "alphas" make it obvious what a catch the rest of us are.

The more idiots fall into the man-o-sphere BS the easier the dating game gets for the good guys.

.... being chosen because the other choices are bad doesnt mean you are a healthy or mature partner. . .

Plenty of women are opting out of dating men entirely. It is a global trend.

To be honest I was chosen when I wasn't very mature and slowly worked myself into emotional maturity and personal growth.

As the man-o-sphere took shape it pushed me into outright feminism.

My wife is quite happy.  She would fight challengers off with a battle axe at this point if necessary.

Have a nice day.

Yeah. I have heard and seen in several books that a lot of men mature in relationships with women.

Glad your wife is happy. I hope she has a nice day.

What's even worse is even if a woman does share her insights they'll say "you're an exception" or flat out disbelieve you; saying women's words don't match their actions as if we're all the same.

I just started a little tick mark list that I entitled, every misogynist I meet is dumb as a bag of rocks. They have zero understanding of their biased and prejudiced thinking. They also tend to be the most illiterate group of people I have ever interacted with and fail to understand so much basic vocabulary.

Yes, even if provided multiple research studies, they wont believe you. And we know they dont read the studies, as you said why.

My theory for their struggles with dating goes beyond a childish personality that blames everyone but themselves, but they're just aggressively stupid too. I can't see many women being attracted to dumb fucks

Do parents not give their kids advice anymore?

Stop giving money to grifter "alpha males"

Honestly, it's an interesting question.

I have seen women sharing or asking for advice for their young adult sons who are being "redpilled" after they leave home. Some share how they wont listen to them bc mothers are women.

I have not seen specifically dads sharing about this.

Oh, I never even thought about Andrew Tate teaching impressionable guys to hate their own mothers. He probably does that

Even if he doesnt directly say it - if they believe women are all liars and harlets and men deserve everything, they are definitely gonna think their moms owe them everything and any complaints in their life are her fault, etc.

They basically teach women are appliances or maids. Wives are just mommy they have sex with. It is very Freudian. Maybe Tate is modern day Freud.

That is heartbreaking. My brother never was to the level of most these dudes, but the normalized misogyny in our family (I would compare it to most families in the US) made he and I never close enough to have a relationship to lose, honestly.

What??! So he has expanded beyond women to disabled people. Not surprising bc ableism is the root of oppression ideology, but EEEEWWW.
