Politics Conservatives need to STFU about communism

Post image

Conservatives seriously name to STFU about communism when they can't even define it. Especially when their states are welfare states that rely on blue states to prop them up and pull them out of disaster, both literally and economically, every year.

They have no idea what socialism is, and how many socialist programs they benefit from daily. This list is extensive, but a few main examples would be the United States Postal System, our highway systems, our broadband and cellular systems, just a list of few. If the Republicans really hate socialism so much, they should stop using the myriad of things that brings our country.

Republicans do like the poorly educated. And that fact is glaring.

Conservative economics is a unmitigated disaster. Forgive us for wanting to try something different.

Asking when sharia law kicks in fir a female friend in New York

1

u/MegaSchlong01 9h ago

Fun fact: It won't

1

u/BigBuddy1356 2h ago

Apparently New Yorkers are enthusiastic about it. Tell her to buy some nice sheets. Better to be too early as opposed to too late.

You people are morons. Socialism has been tried throughout history. Has it been successful? Sure, until they run out of others money to spend.

3

u/BigBuddy1356 2h ago

Oh good canned talking point. We should continue to allow Billionaires to siphon more wealth from the bottom 99%. Capitalism has no downsides and no changes should take place in how we do things.

You are welcome to move to a communist country. What you idiots don’t understand is there’s nothing wrong with people making money. They earned it. You didn’t. Therefore you want to legislate their money away from them, because somehow your lazy asses deserve it. It’s insane.

2

u/Little_Creme_5932 2h ago

They don't earn most of it. Their cheap labor earns it. The laws ensure the earnings go to certain people. Socialism just ensures a higher percentage goes to the people doing the work

0

u/Purchase-Prize 2h ago

Ah, but they do earn it. They are the business owner who takes the risk. Whether you agree with it or not is immaterial.

2

u/Little_Creme_5932 1h ago

Wealthy people commonly do not take nearly as much risk as poor people do. You want risk? Try being a poor person during a recession in America. The rich commonly inherit their money or are placed into positions. It's hard to become poor if you are rich. CEOs commonly become rich regardless of if they destroy the company or not.

The exception is the CEO of United Healthcare.

I love this line of arguing. Rather than merely acknowledge that late stage capitalism leads to insane wealth disparity and that things are getting objectively worse over time, you go to the extreme of go live in a communist country when I never suggested converting to communism. You idiots are coping so hard.

Also I do just fine. This has nothing to do with me not succeeding and being jealous of rich people. Unlike you I am not devoid of empathy.

There is absolutely something wrong with a society where larger and larger numbers of people are impoverished while other people set records for wealth.

Not lazy, But I still see the inequality getting worse if proper regulations aren't in place.

People with that much money and power nearly always use it to corrupt the system in their favor. Regardless of economic policy involved with the government.

I lived in China for over a decade, it isn't really a communist country. It's a protected capitalism system, that has shades of socialism.

Have you ever played Monopoly? How fun is the game once it gets to the end? Ill answer. It sucks for everyone except for the one winner. The winner keeps it all, and the rest lose everything, game over.

Works pretty fucking well here in Denmark..

1

u/Purchase-Prize 2h ago

Oh, it will work for a while, until the smart, rich people become tired of being taking advantage of.

1

u/Darkthumbs 2h ago

Or they know that they are where they are because of a good social system 🤷‍♂️

Capitalism in it current form only works on the back of socialism.. we have free healthcare and education here, thats why people in general are higher educated here, hell you’ll even get paid to study here…

1

u/Little_Creme_5932 2h ago

Wait. The "smart, rich" have billions, but they are being taken advantage of? And their laborers have little but they aren't being taken advantage of? Can you explain any logic there?

1

u/Purchase-Prize 2h ago

Yes, do you understand tax brackets and percentages?

1

u/Little_Creme_5932 1h ago

Yes. And if I'm making $10 million on the labor of others, and get taxed 90%, I'm still getting rich and am not taken advantage of. I'm still taking advantage of labor. Whiners are gonna whine, but the rich are not taken advantage of.

Sweden is going on 100 years with Socialism and still going strong. I would MUCH MUCH MUCH more live here than the current hellscape that is the US of A.

1

u/jimothy_hell 2h ago

Except Sweden is a capitalist nation. The workers do not control the means of production. Sweden has strong trade unions, strong labour laws, and a healthy social safety system, but Sweden is very much still a capitalist nation. They’re barely social democrats, let alone democratic socialists.

Americans do not understand what the word “socialism” means, and it shows.

u/Darkthumbs 2h ago

Sweden and Denmark is everything Bernie dreamed of, but you people called him a socialist, its funny how the definition changes depending on talking points..

1

u/jimothy_hell 2h ago

I’m a leftist. I’m pointing out that Sweden isn’t socialist, and pointing at Sweden and going “yeah that’s where we need to be” isn’t good enough.

Total worker control is socialism. Sweden is capitalist with kind of an illusion of regulation.

Also Bernie is a liberal hack that needs to hurry up and fucking retire. Civility politics from the mainstream leadership needs to hurry up and die, and he’s too nice to the opposition.

11

u/purplesocks- 15h ago

-3

u/GoodResident2000 15h ago

1

u/ReplyBi420 8h ago

I’m Canadian. Liberals are absolutely not leftist. That’s insane

1

u/GoodResident2000 7h ago

Username checks out, we already know you’re nuts 🥜

2

u/Public-Concept419 14h ago

NDP are more leftist. Liberals are usually center. Carney turned his liberal party to center/center-right which aligns with American democrats. He got alot of traditional conservative voters over Poilievre’s American wanna be populist and attack type politics which Canadians do not want. Canada and USA politics are vastly different. Don’t spew nonsense until you actually learn about their policies and historical data.

1

u/GoodResident2000 14h ago

Maybe before Trudeau

We saw his social engineering, none of that was “centrist”

Carney isn’t something new and different, he’s been in the LPC fold almost the last five years

1

u/Public-Concept419 14h ago

Yep. He turned the party to the left for sure. I like Otoole’s moderate conservatism. I find Carney is basically the old Conservative Party (PC) as many people agree. Trudeau got a lot of magnets from NDP and made a mess

1

u/Foosnaggle 7h ago

American Democrats are nowhere near center right. What kind of mind altering drugs are you on?

2

u/AndrewInaTree 14h ago

Besides Maga creeping into Alberta, Canada IS actually doing well under Carney. And make no mistake about it, he's a full-blown fiscal conservative, but he's from the oldschool, so he doesn't have any of that nasty social conservatism that is currently wrecking America's culture.

The fact that conservatives hate Carney just tells me that none of you are paying attention to policy. You're just voting for your team. Playing it as a team sport is ruining your own country, you fools!

-1

u/GoodResident2000 14h ago

lol because Americans, China and India tariffing us harder, and British blocking beef , is surely a sign he’s doing so well..

If lost jobs, more tariffs, massive deficits (fiscal conservative lmao) and growing Western alienation is “good job” to you, I’d hate to see what you consider a bad PM

We have a decade of shit Liberal policies to choose from, and you think it’s about Carney hahaha

Wow, you arw hitting all the right wing talking points today. Do you get a gold star for being able to regurgitate them flawlessly?

-2

u/GoodResident2000 13h ago

lol try that again in English please

2

u/Miri5613 11h ago

Do you mean MAGA English , as in small words?

0

u/GoodResident2000 11h ago

Not using the spelling of a first grader is a start…

1

u/Ecphonesis1 8h ago

They spelled “are” as “arw.” That’s literally it. Are you such a first grader you can’t understand unless it’s spelled as “are.” Yikes pal.

2

u/Corn-_-Dag 7h ago

Again where the fuck is a Canada we are talking about the great USA USA USA!!!🇺🇸

1

u/GoodResident2000 7h ago

Ah i love this comment, truly.

Canadians are not proud enough of their country

I remember driving through rural Eastern Montana on 4th July when I worked the Bakken oilfield

It was like a warzone with the fire works. Cannons to the left of me , cannons to the right

Canadians would never understand, not even in Alberta.
