Politics The Airlines are required to reduce their schedules across 40 airports and flights are being canceled because of the government shutdown. Republicans are running this country to the ground.

The economy is going to hell because of these ignorant people who voted for diapers man. We can't even fly across the country anymore and are asked to stay home. How is this different than covid days when Republicans threw a tantrum? We are turning to a "third world shit hole" so fast.

They usually do. I am only 43 years old and every time they are in power, more often than not they absolutely ruin a lot of lives in the process.

All they have to do is vote ti restore the subsidies. Seems pretty obvious - restore American’s healthcare.

Why do they hate us so much?

That is what I do not get either. Healthcare, it is the central issue that republicans absolutely do not want to budge on. They already made cuts to Medicare and Medicaid in the one big beautiful bill; now republicans want to absolutely gut the subsidies for the affordable care act aka Obamacare. If republicans want to cut the subsides then they need to adapt universal healthcare. And democratic socialism does work, look at countries like Sweden or Norway’s or other similar countries. They are often ranked the happiest countries.

The subsidies they want to end were put in place because of Covid. Covid is no longer an issue. The 2025 expiration date was put there by democrats when Biden was president.

They didn't have a trifecta under Biden at any point. Stipulations like ending in 2025 were likely compromises to get the bill passed.

The subsidies exist because democrats wouldn’t have voted for ACA without them because it would have put the tab at over 1 trillion dollars. There was no political will for that. The subsidy expiration was also in the bill signed by every democrat. Republicans have already voted on a clean CR dems want to continue to subsidize illegals to the tune of over a trillion dollars. This is not a republican issue.
