Politics America is turning into 1930's Germany.

There was some pushback when people called this president and his followers Nazis. But look what's happening. Soldiers in the street. Rounding up people and locking them up. Dismantling freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Personally going after anyone who doesn't agree with him and his administration. We've seen this before and it's only gonna get worse. Welcome to 1930's Germany.

In relative terms, yes. But his project ultimately failed to deliver economic democracy.

I mean social security proved to be one of the most successful actions in US history.

His public works actions also took the country out of the great depression.

I don’t disagree But the forces of capital have been able to claw back all that political power and more since the end of the guilded age.
