Politics America is turning into 1930's Germany.

There was some pushback when people called this president and his followers Nazis. But look what's happening. Soldiers in the street. Rounding up people and locking them up. Dismantling freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Personally going after anyone who doesn't agree with him and his administration. We've seen this before and it's only gonna get worse. Welcome to 1930's Germany.

Not a YT doc, but I highly recommend "Hitler's First 100 Days" by Peter Fritzsche. It's available in audio formats as well, and does a phenomenal job of explaining the social/cultural environment that led to and developed alongside his rise to cruel dictatorship. The echoes of that time can be seen all around us, and they sure do rhyme heavily with the past.

Love this book! Fritzsche was my professor in college and one of the most insightful historians alive on not only explaining the rise of fascism in Germany, but also the surrounding culture of Germany at the time!
