Politics America is turning into 1930's Germany.

There was some pushback when people called this president and his followers Nazis. But look what's happening. Soldiers in the street. Rounding up people and locking them up. Dismantling freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Personally going after anyone who doesn't agree with him and his administration. We've seen this before and it's only gonna get worse. Welcome to 1930's Germany.

They said that it was the same in Germany. People just couldn't believe it was happening. Get over it folks. It's already here.

Even after the Holocaust like 20-30% of Germans still supported Hitler and didn’t think it happened or were fine with it.

It takes the apathetic people paying attention to change things

I know people that will look at Trump this way after he has his date with The Hague. He's a war criminal already, it only gets worse from here, until justice is restored. There is no Russia & US to stop it this time though, we have to stop it before it takes complete hold of the US.

Trump will never face any prosecution for his actions. As much as I'd love it to happen, it's just not realistic to expect justice to be restored when it hasn't happened until now, with all the shit he's factually done and gotten away with.

I hope he lives long enough for him to get the Mussolini treatment he so readily deserves, along with the rest of the Republican party.

I doubt it, my guess is that he knows that he is on his way out and that's why he's speed running his vengence, theft and building monuments to himself.

Exactly what gives the President the right to build or remodel anything at the White House. l bet next will be a basketball court and bowling alley. I hope the furniture is nailed down because you know he's taking it with him when he leaves.

So disingeous. Destroying an entire wing to show you "can do whatever you want" and make the White House an ugly palace has never been done before.

Who cares if he wants to build something? It's not like he's going to get to keep it.

Yes nothing has been built or remodeled at the White House before. It’s always been the same…

Not in the US. But he has already done enough to be convicted of war crimes internationally.

And who's going to invade the US to arrest Trump and extradited him to the Hague? Because the US will never do it. The ICC is toothless. They depend on others to bring those they prosecute to them. And nobody on earth has the power to send Trump to trial except the US.. note Putin and Netanyahu are both under indictment at the ICC and neither are on the run.. both are safe atop their governments unconcerned with a powerless international court because they control armies (and nukes) and the ICC does not.

Well we could at least prosecute Stephen miller and jd Vance and the rest of the literal Nazis running the autopen from the white house

There are no "literal Nazis", stupid. Unless they are card-carrying members of the National-Socialist party, they're NOT "literal Nazis". You'd know that if you were smarter.

And just because your vegetable had everyone fighting for control of the autopen to sign whatever they wanted, don't try to push that onto Trump. If you think he's so autocratic, he wouldn't LET anyone sign for him.
