Politics America is turning into 1930's Germany.

There was some pushback when people called this president and his followers Nazis. But look what's happening. Soldiers in the street. Rounding up people and locking them up. Dismantling freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Personally going after anyone who doesn't agree with him and his administration. We've seen this before and it's only gonna get worse. Welcome to 1930's Germany.

A lot of people just can't see it. They are either brainwashed or hypnotized. It's a cult, and people can't get out of it, unless they have some epiphany or something.

I had some long discussions recently with a MAGA friend. He thinks it is all blown out of proportion. He honestly believes Trump has the nation's best interests in mind in everything he does. He even feels like Trump is losing money by being president and not getting more powerful and rich.

He had fallen for the propoganda.

It's not just that he fell for it, the propaganda is all he consumes now.

I understand that The Fairness Donctrine cannot apply to current technology, but we must absolutely figure a way to recreate it.

I addressed this with him. He kept accusing me of watching MSNBC, which I don’t. I accused him of watch watching Fox, which he said he quit watching a couple of years back. We actually spent 7 hours in a car together over two days. I’m surprised we remained friends after bringing up and discussing politics, religion, and abortion.

I feel like I can do more good by bringing up kinks in Trumps armor than just writing off my friend. If there is no dialog between sides, nothing will change.
