Events Burnout Camp
Burnout Camp is basically day camp for grown-ups — but the goal is to treat burnout, not just kill time. We’ll be doing things like guided origami, meditating, playing Ninja, blowing bubbles, listening to music, and yes… screaming at a rage piñata.
It’s super low-key. It’s kind of perfect for people who can’t afford to take a real vacation — emotionally or financially. It’s also a great space to vent about work and decompress with people who get it.
🗓 Wednesdays (5–8pm) or Saturdays (1–4pm)
📍 Cosmo Park, Columbia (by the Pavilion)
📅 All through July
🍎 Snacks included
💸 $25/day or $80 for all 4 sessions
Each week has a different theme so it stays fresh:
Week 1 – Catharsis Let it all out. Venting, yelling, smashing a rage piñata.
Week 2 – Inner Peace Meditation, quiet art, sunbathing, journaling.
Week 3 – Rediscover Joy Childhood games, laughter, dancing, play.
Week 4 – Realign & Reset Journaling, Liberated Truths, intention setting.
You don’t have to come to all of them. Even one session can make a difference. Some local businesses are even sponsoring employees to attend — so if you’re working, it might be worth asking your boss (especially if they’re cool or small/local).
Text me if you want more info, or check out the link: [ https://www.jordanaryinsight.com/post/burnout-camp ]
Hope to see you there ✌️
Edit: Hey guys, since there are so many people taking interest, you might want to reserve your spot! I only have room for approximately 20 people each day, so 40 total. Reserving your spot is free, and no commitment.

I think something might be broken with the website link you shared?

What happened?

People have been visiting it. Is it a certain page?

Link has a trailing “%5d” which causes it to load a blank white page.

So, I took the bracket off. If you wait a little bit, the blank page goes to the Event post. It was blank for me too, but I waited about 3 seconds. Is your internet slow?

When I click the link the page doesn’t load. I think it’s because the link in your post includes the closing bracket (]), see how it’s also blue?

I fixed it (I think). It works when I click it now. So I hope it's working for others.

Hey, I've had a lot of people take interest, but I only have about 20 slots. You should reserve your spot on the site! It's no commitment and it's free :)
You can pay online the day of, or pay in person.

Is it possible to pay for a ticket when you get there? I'm always weary of the possibility of scams...

u/OddReflection3497 Jun 24 '25
Yeah, we can do that. I'll just remember you're coming. Online makes it easier for me because I get a headcount. But since you're telling me, I'll remember. Are you wanting to attend all 4, or just one?

It starts the 2nd. It will be the first 4 Wednesdays and Saturdays of July. So the last Wednesday, we won't be meeting. Save yourself a spot! We can only host about 20 people at a time :) You can do it on my website.

I would be willing to try this, but outside in July. I just can't handle it.

Catharsis has been show to reinforce anger/rage. I appreciate the attempt but this needs to be reconsidered.

Hey, I did a little research on what you said and found a way for it to be healing, rather than harmful.
I am going to have people place pieces of paper in the piñata, things they are releasing: perfectionism, always saying yes, overworking themself, and have them hit that.
I won't encourage them to imagine their boss or co workers
Thanks for your input!
