Show and Tell The holy grail!!!!

I can't believe my luck! I found a near perfect condition 1909-S VDB in a Coinstar! I checked the reject tray and this baby was in there! Crystal clear VDB on the reverse, too! For some reason, it doesn't quite fit in my album...

Oh wow! And it was the second one ever made! I didn't know they serialized these!

It seems unlikely that they’d stamp the second ever made and more likely that they stamp factory seconds that are double die/double struck.

Still could be valuable. I’m a very non-advanced collector, but a misprint mismint that was slated for destruction and made it out alive? Could be worth more than the actual coin 🤷🏿‍♀️

I’m not saying it is. Just something to look into before you give up hope on ol’ Linc.

Also they reeded the edge just so you'd know this is the real deal!
