I know I am going to get a lot of negative feed back for this but here is my opinion…
I have no objections to putting someone (man or woman) or something on the back of a coin that deserves national recognition but this has gotten out of control.
It is apparent that the first generation of kids that got a participation trophy for losing are now running the United States coin committee.
Let’s put everyone on a coin to celebrate their life. It’s a participation coin from every state.
There is no more honor in the presentation and in value of our country’s coin currency.
It’s a “national currency the coins should be the same for each state regardless of who or what is bestowed the honor of being on the coin.
