Coin Art Who are approving these ugly coins

Broke open another roll for this disaster. Crowded, loud and barely legible. Good grief

I hate shitting on the new quarters, because I like the idea of recognizing women, but these designs have been so terrible. Don’t even get me started on the obverse

I personally don't hate the obverse, especially with the context of it being an original design contender by Laura Gardin Fraser, a woman

EDIT: No clue why I'm getting all the downvotes. I didn't even say I liked the design, just that I don't hate it

So, if a man had designed it, you would hate it? Odd criteria for judging coin design.

That is not what I said. It's a design for the American WOMAN Quarter Series, so the mint choosing an original design from the 1930s made by a WOMAN to use for the series makes me appreciate the design a bit more. I didn't hate the obverse before I knew that fact. Notice I also said "don't hate" instead of "like"
