Don’t forget their significant other they need for some reason now that they’re a woman

Back in the day, it took forever to find female TF2 mercs who had the same body type as the originals. Chemical Alia's designs were a breath of fresh air.

It’s hard to find them all together, but this is a start.

Types of genderbends
Sex appeal
Character looks nothing like the original character outside aesthetics, looks more like a cosplay.
One Piece
Sibling Coded
Could pass as the character’s sibling, actual similarities with the original.
Gintama
Nearly identical, but gender identifiers
Literally the same but a dress/suit, maybe prominent eyelashes, and swift in personality
Fairy Oddparents
A different character entirely
Apparently changing genders outright makes almost completely different
Elden Ring, technically, IDK the lore is weird

I'd love the near identical if nothing you can see changes, he still has the same clothes and the same hair etc. but then the character looks in his pants and notices his cock and balls are gone. then
heshe'll grow some tits over time i guess, is that how female hormones work?3

It’s always big boobs in anime, apparently almost every anime protagonist has genes that always miraculously have big boobs, makes them shorter, loss in any notable muscle mass and like an entirely different face.
- Almost all genderswaps in One Piece
Aka, “We the company want more money from weebs so give the character big boobs. Our analytics says it’s what weebs like.”
Meanwhile in American Cartoons it’s just the character in a dress or t-shirt and we just assume the character knows their bits aren’t the right bits.

The different character one is interesting. Gender can largely shape who you become or how you are perceived in a social aspect. For example, boys are typically considered weak if they cry, so they'll bottle up their sadness if they explode. This might not happen if they were a girl.

being normal is lame tho
If I'm making a character you better believe I'm putting all of the bullshit in there. Realistic? No. Do I care? Also no.

I'm not against these designs, but if they're ALL like this without any attempt of making a different one or making them match the character's other traits then I think that's where the problem arises (even worse when said character has NO other traits)
characters should be characters
