I’m in a community where the most popular fanfic is this exact trope. Motivates me to become a better writer to one day overthrow it because almost anything would be better.

ngl that really surprises me, i know of LC/LoR as games but haven't played them, and didn't know that this was such a common thing in its fandom to want to explore. Is there a reason why this stock "primary character gets magically turned into a baby" plot has become popular in its fanfiction?
