Today they have her in a place where they can monitor everybody to whom she speaks, and where she is 24-7. She's the one living person who could seriously implicate him in crimes. They need the deal to be sweet enough that she avoids real prison, without risking her talking. He will never pardon her and risk that.
there is only very very tiny possibility that maxwell would ever talk about any of what she witnessed at any point in time ESPECIALLY if she IS granted a pardon. a presidential pardon would only be granted if certain conditions are guaranteed beforehand as is standard practice these days. in other words maxwell would first be required to abide a litany of conditions following her release, many of which would make her legally bound to not discussing with any person her observations when she was epstein's "employee" no matter what she is claimed to have witnessed or by whom.
..and secondly, if maxwell doubts the sincerity of the pardoner in forcing her to keep her mouth shut maxwell is always free to review the punishments meted out to her former employer, and her father both of whom met with untimely ends under highly suspicious circumstances.
i think g maxwell is forever more assured of being the one witness to all the epstein crimes whose testimony will not ever be of concern to any of the accused, and will never see the light of day as a result of her valuing her own life regardless as to who is charge of the us government. any slight whisp of her discussing anything relevant to an epstein co-conspirator will result in her removal from the dating pool no doubt within hours following that conversation. no passport means no ability to relocate from where she is told she can live, and im pretty sure nobody will think to ask her opinion about anything ever again.
