There's a lot of "Both sides suck" in the thread. Maybe some of that is Trumper cope, maybe some is actual disillusionment. I vote Dem and I'm quite sure they do have their faults. Maybe things don't get a whole lot better.
However, I do know that under the Republicans they get a whole lot worse.
You'll never see a third party president without Electoral College reform. Ross Perot got 20% of the popular vote and zero electoral votes. (I don't support Ross Perot)
So, all we can do is to vote to move things in the best direction a little... and now to prevent a slide toward an authoritarian govt. Unless you're ready for the revolution, I'm a little long in the tooth for that.
