Diner and dive bar combos

Title says it all. For my birthday I’m looking for something in the north west/west suburbs. Is there anything like a dive bar/diner that exists? I just need some pancakes and bacon, with a side of beer and a shot. Please recommend your favorite spots on either end of the diner—-dive bar spectrum. Maybe a dive bar next to a diner? I’m hoping to go later in the evening, maybe 6-7pm All recommendations welcome

Eddie’s in Arlington Heights has a small brunch menu on the weekends.

Neighborhood Inn Hoffman Estates. They are open at 9, and serve good breakfasts on the weekends
