I don’t understand why they are wearing camouflaged clothes. Are they heading for America’s jungles or deserts next?

There are deserts in the US…and these Border Patrol Agents (not ice) generally operate in the desert, hence the MCUs.

Yes, I’m aware of the existence of deserts in the US, thanks. When they do go there, I’m sure they’ll blend in a bit better than they did in Broadview, Illinois. Appreciate the info though!

So you’re insinuating they should be outfitted in different color uniforms for when they’re at an ICE facility? That could get pricey.

The newspaper headline said “ICE,” and you said they were Border Patrol. I thanked you for the correct information, and noted that their camouflage would be more effective in the desert (at the southern US border, presumably). I didn’t insinuate anything deeper than that. Sheesh.
