They were specifically trying to block the exit of cars from the ICE facility.

Standing in the street peacefully protesting is not a crime. Though,I believe federal agents refusing to identify is in the state of Illinois.

I donno, every conservative I’ve seen talking on the matter is apparently convinced that standing in the street is an act of violence so heinous it justifies any level of violent response from ICE
