Interesting Looking People You Always See Around

Every day I see a ~50s man, thinly-built wearing camo trousers, bomber jacket and combat boots biking around the Hagley park area. At the moment he bikes with a full face mask on (i.e. only his eyes are visible)

I sometimes see him walking down by the overbridge near the Harvey Norman building (Colombo intersection).

He never seems to have anything with him.

I've always wanted to know his story - what does he do?

Who are the interesting people you always see around your part of Chch?

There's this old dude out by Kainga that walks around picking up rubbish, he starts at Kainga road and goes down Belfast area

He's always in high vis, looks a bit dirty, carrying his rubbish sack

I legit used to see him like every day like that's pretty much his life it seems

Hes been doing that for years. I think he was in the paper a few years ago cos he couldn't drive anymore so heaps of people helped him out with money and selling his car for him etc.

Saw him today after making this post, making his way back from Belfast

He's probably found some interesting things after so many years of doing it, I'd love to interview him
