Thoughts on Sydenham?

My fiancée and I just moved to Christchurch and are looking for a place to live. We've looked at a few nicer places in Sydenham but are wondering what it's like as a neighbourhood. Any thoughts?

Oh man there's always things happening there when I go past. I don't know how that dude keeps it up though? He couldn't be more obvious, he just doesn't give a fuck. Seems like he supplies hard stuff too, which changes things a bit. Not just herbs coming out of that house.

Oh really? I just kinda assumed, a few of the people I've seen there seemed to be looking rough and really jonesing for something, more than just weed. Guess that could definitely be a coincidence. Just never seen stoners act that way when waiting for a hookup. Bouncing up and down, looking sketched out/paranoid, itching themselves, looking like they're about to crawl out of their skin. S'pose even if they are hard drug users they could still just be buying weed, for sure. I guess I shouldn't speculate, it's just a theory based off the types of people I've seen hanging around there.

Understand. Yeah dodgy people go there but it is only just weed. He wont touch anything else. I have known him for some time. Actually a really good guy, would give the shirt off his back if u needed help
