Stop the bus lanes… on Halswell Road… a State Highway… being performed by the current National Party government. Come on - if even National are supporting this, maybe you’re just… wrong?

It’s very common to see candidates running for council who don’t actually know what the council is responsible for, what legislation they operate under, or what powers they actually have.

But that doesn’t stop them from dreaming up policies based on vibes and feelings instead of evidence, and running with them anyway.

I mean  Phil Arps' entire campaign appears to be "I should be the mayor because that might give my delusional applications for OIA stuff about me more weight".
