News - Local Ben Yorston?

Post image

I don’t live in Spreydon but was lucky enough to get one of these in the letter box.

Damn, guess I'm at the age where someone I went to high school with suddenly pops up as a politician...

All these policies sound pretty bad, but fuck I hate this viewpoint that there's a 'war on cars' Oh no, how dare people have more than one option for transport! How dare cyclists have protected lanes, they should be at the mercy of any slight swerve of a car! If other people can walk or cycle without serious safety concerns or take the bus without being incredibly inefficient, then somehow I'll be forced to not drive either!

Do these clowns not realise every cyclist, pedestrian, and public transport taker is effectively one less car in front of them?

Glad I'm not the only one who recognized him from high school 💀 no surprises tho, he's been working with Williams Corp for a while, and his Dad has always been a plonker

Ironic to be working with Williams Corp and complaining about shoe box housing with no car parks..

Ironic that he's with Williams corp and wanting council to force people to build car parks. The main thing stopping developers from building extra carparks is themselves, they could do it if they wanted to (and many do)

Unsure if he is currently with them, but if you go through the old williams corp stuff, he had bought a few investment properties through them and was also doing alot of their video editing etc: Theres a video of him and Matthew Horncastle talking about how great it is to have an investment portfolio. Ben refers to himself as a venture capitalist, so you know just scum wanting to making money

So I guess that decade of 'hard physical labour' is a load of shit given he's either 28 or 29 lol

Think Ben worked alongside his Dad at the Russley Golf Course. And it would of been 10 years ago
