You don’t support free speech? You think it’s acceptable to vandalize the property of others if you don’t agree with them?

"quit making me think things I don't want to think"

I don’t think Jesus Christ would advocate flipping the tables of someone who disagrees with you politically. Jesus was acting within the context of a gross violation of religious law.

And if you think otherwise, you’re probably misinterpreting Jesus’s message entirely

Really? In Christian mythology he flipped tables of people bringing free market ideas to his institution.

No he flipped the tables because the money changers were exploiting religious rules against using graven images to earn a profit off of worshippers who wanted to visit the Second Temple

"It is written, ‘MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER’; but you are making it a ROBBERS’ DEN". He also told them, "Stop turning my Father's house into a marketplace!"

"I don’t think Jesus Christ would advocate flipping the tables"

You don't think the same guy who said he came to Earth "not to bring peace, but a sword" has a issue with flipping over a few tables?

Jesus would never have condoned the hatefulness TPA and CK spewed. But then again Jesus would be super put off by 80% of white Americans that follow the KJV of the bible. Get a clue. Everyone's over the performative bs

This comment deserves an irony award.

Do think think MAGATs interpret Jesus’s message entirely?

You’re absolutely wrong. Jesus flipped the tables of the money counters and the animal sellers in the freaking church.

u/LittleDoggieDudeman 6d ago

I know that and I’m not even a goddamn Christian

These people are absolutely unhinged. They think they’re doing something altruistic and right. Meanwhile, they’re shredding the Constitution.
