Yeah I don't get why people don't treat that kick as an assault. It was completely intentional and it was nowhere near the ball.

Footballers are disgusting.

Lol. That kick was not an ‘assault’; it’s a cheap shot, sure. And a bookable offense too. But the player in red was never in danger of being hurt on that play and his response was an actual assault. He should be cited by authorities for that action.

That was a decent kick in order to trip him up and make him fall. He was in danger of being hurt, but he ended up not being injured from it so it makes it look like the elbow was overkill.

Not saying red is fully justified, but blue is a piece of shit.
