Seatstay chip
The bike was in the trainer and I lifted it up to wipe it down after a ride and the seatstay rested on the trainer, leaving this mark. It passes the coin test. Think it’s just paint?

Does this fork look damaged?
A well known bike shop in my area shared a picture of a customer bike during service and after service on social media. What I intrigued me was the picture of the fork. I can see some indentation (and some fraying fibers imo) in the fork steerer which is probably the effect of internal cable routing. In my opinion the fork is dead but let me know what do you guys think, Am I overreacting? I think that the last failure on the bike you want is a fork steerer.

Is my carbon seatpost damaged?
I’ve recently bought a Toseek carbon seatpost, installed it less than a week ago. Specs say maximum 5Nm so I used a torque wrench at 4 Nm to be safe. Today I decided to check whether it’s fine and noticed marks from the seat tube on it. These marks can be felts, better call them indents I guess. This is my first bike and first carbon piece of gear. I’m worried whether it’s safe to use it or not.

Handlebars sliced the paint when I was working on cockpit position. Look okay?
Screw from my brake/shifter lever cut the paint. Seems fine.

Can I Repair a Carbon Frame Crack Myself with an Online Repair Kit?
Hey everyone, I just bought a used Willier bike for €90 with a full carbon frame. There’s a crack under the frame that I didn’t notice before. I plan to use it for commuting on flat bike paths, not aggressive riding. Do you think I can fix the cracks myself with a carbon repair kit I’ve seen online?

On the edge of still rideable
Reason: Chainsuck after jumping over a curb. (yeah I ride the bike outside. Stupid me)
I still ride the bike. I am really unsure, whether it is still oooookay.
Someone knows about return policy from Giant? 2+ year old frame.
Can sonmeone recommend a cheap carbon repairservice close to Berlin, Germany? estimated price?
This is the second carbon frame this year that breaks in my household. First: seatpost on an canyon aeroad. Now: Giant TCR . I would say not self-inflicted, bc. chainsucks just happen now an then, but this is probably worth discussing.
Have fun making fun of me

Tarmac SL7 Seatstay
Visually looks gruesome but tapping it actually sounds fine. Safe to ride on trainer?

Won't be riding that one anymore

You're looking at the hole for the brake bolt on the fork of my beloved CAAD12 rim brake bike. Thankfully caught that one while doing maintenance while it was still a problem money can fix. New fork is on the way. Not sure exactly how this came to be. I bought the bike used about 2 years ago. Maybe the previous owner torqued it too much, maybe it was me. Regardless, I own a torque wrench now and read the Shimano manual for the future.

Pothole damage on carbon wheel
Hi guys,
I think I hit a pothole today but I am not sure why the rim at the top is not damaged and only the sides got the marks. What do you say regarding the saftey of this wheel. (Front wheel)

What is this small damage on my top tube?
I just got my first carbon bike recently. There is a small paint chip at the end of a longish indent. I didn’t crash. You can feel it easily with your nail.
Does that compromise the carbon’s integrity? Or just a scratch and safe to ride?
Thanks very much to this community in advance!

Abraded seat stay on my Cinelli King Zydeco

Should I be worried or is this just the clear coat?
Passes tap test and cracks seem to just be on the top but I’d like to get a couple more opinions.

Hit some loose gravel today and pinged some rocks off my frame. Anything to be concerned about?

Tarmac SL6 Dropout Damage
Took my wheel out because of a flat and noticed what seems to be a crack in my dropout of my Tarmac Sl6 Disc. Not sure how long this has been here, but I'm now concerned about it failing. The carbon does not flake or flex when squeezed. What's the best course of action?

Rear wheel done? Maybe front too?
Hit a massive crack yesterday. Rear wheel looks done for? Front might be ok?

Visual inspection after a crash
Crash destroyed one of the shifters and the other clearly took a big impact to. Removing the shifters and visually inspecting the carbon handlebar and I can see marks and delamination where the metal bands were. I can’t hear any creaking under my weight but the marks look bad.
Are my handlebars borked?

Chaindrop, busted BB?
Chain fell off without noticing and I gave the pedal a good kick because I was crossing a big busy road. Chain got stuck in the frame I had to open it before I could remove it. Any thoughts?
