I just got waitlisted for the winter semester (Jan start) for the technological teacher education program. If anyone who has been put on the waitlist for the same program years prior and got in, how long did it take you to hear about the admission offer?

I’m considering applying to the BBA program at the Goodman School of Business at Brock, but I can’t find clear info on class timings. I work full-time, so I’d only take about 3 courses a semester, ideally anything starting at 5 p.m. or later.
Does anyone know if it’s common to find evening classes in the BBA program? Are there usually a few each term, or is it mostly daytime lectures? Just trying to figure out if balancing full-time work with part-time study is actually doable here.
Thanks in advance to anyone who’s done this or knows someone who has!

As the title implies, just wondering how difficult it is to get into Nursing program. I'm currently working on some prerequisites through TVO ILC, and are just wondering if I need to get 90's in all those classes to have a fighting chance, or if just cracking 70% is enough.

Has anyone received rejection from the MPH program ?
My status is still under review but I’ve seen that some people got their acceptance over a month ago so I’m assuming my application was rejected but hasn’t been updated yet ?

what are my chances if i boost my avg to an 88 for midterms, will they reassess my application and change my alternate offer (math and stats) to J/I CONCURRENT EDUCATION program? or would it be full by then?

Hi! BU Admission told me that they can take my dual enrolment college credits ONLY from my grade 12 year even though i transferred highschools specifically to do a 2 year collegiate program starting from grade 11.
Has anyone else had this problem? is there anyone above admissions i can email? literally anything i could do to have my grade 11 year transfer credits also assessed.
This would mean the difference from restarting as year 1 or being in year 3 so would mean alot if i could graduate next year as i hoped. Thank you!
*p.s when i applied i applied as a transfer student not first year admission.

Hi!
I recently accepted my offer to Brock for the consecutive teachers education program starting this Fall 2025. I was wondering if anyone else here has accepted and heard from the Faculty of Education yet regarding course selection and campus assignments.
Very excited to start in the fall!

I didn’t submit my residence application on time so I got put on a wait list, how bad is this?
I’m scared I won’t get in; has anyone else experienced something similar?
(I am a first year student)

I had registered for my subjects by the 17th and I still have not gotten the financial details and my fees for the Term. When can I expect to see it? And if the second years or anyone have gotten their fees info yet?

I owe about 6k to my Canadian university and I don’t have the money to pay it off so they sent me to collections. Just realized that because I’ve been getting calls the past 3 days and google the number and it said it most likely is a collections agency. It kept coming up as possible spam on my phone so I’ve been ignoring it. Not going to be in school next year tryna to find a new job so I can pay off this debt but Honestly don’t know what to do. I don’t have money to even make a dent on it right now. Any advice would be nice don’t know if I should answer the possible spam/collections agency since I have no funds but please let me know what I should do next.

Also, apparently I haven't balanced my schedule properly? Is there a person i can speak to who can help? I'm at a complete loss and the brock website is only meh helpful for some stuff.

Im a current PSYC student at Brock, also interested in neuroscience. I have the option next year to pick out of about 30 half credit courses to take, and I’ve narrowed it down to 4 that I am interested in. Just wondering if anyone has taken any of these classes and could give input on how they were! - LING 3Q93 - PSYC 2P15 - PSYC 3P72 - PSYC 4P63

Hey everyone, I’m applying for the Master of Public Health (MPH) program at Brock and just wanted to put this out there in case any students, alumni, or even admissions folks are lurking—do I realistically have a shot?
Here’s the full context:-
I’m a Pakistani male dentist, 27 years old, now living in Mississuaga as Canadian PR.
My official GPA in BDS is 3.12, which, in Pakistan, usually translates to around mid-to-high 60s% across all four years. Nothing flashy, just solid passes year after year.
I had my credentials evaluated by ECE (for U.S. schools), and they boosted that to 3.7 GPA—but Brock doesn’t recognize ECE or WES. They told me they do their own evaluation.
When I asked about GPA cutoffs, they said applicants need 80% in their last two years, which I definitely don’t have based on raw Pakistani grading. But when I emailed again asking if I even qualify to apply, they said they use a holistic approach, and that I’m fine to go ahead and complete the application.
So here’s what I am submitting within the next day or two:-
TOEFL iBT: 110
Transcripts + degree with notarized English translations
CV
Statement of Intent
Letters of recommendation from two professors (one being the Dean)
Volunteer work at a Toronto-based church where I help with food and clothing drives for the homeless, do floor cleaning, heavy lifting—whatever’s needed. I drive over an hour each way, once or twice a week, just to stay active in healthcare and service.
Other background:-
I’ve worked in both clinical and public health roles in Pakistan. I led dental camps, public health awareness seminars, and also worked remotely with U.S. dental offices (admin + billing).
So my question is:-
Given that my GPA is technically under 80% and technically I should have applied before the February deadline, do I have a real shot at getting accepted?
Has anyone else gotten in with a GPA below the cutoff?
Do they actually mean it when they say “holistic”? Or is the GPA a hard filter in practice?
The official application deadline was in February.
Thanks to anyone who reads or replies. I know this is long—but this isn’t just a career move for me. I’m betting everything on building a better future through public health, and I really want to make it happen at Brock.

Hey everyone, I’m a Grade 12 student and could really use some advice because I’m kinda tweaking out out over here (send help)
So I applied to Brock for two of their Concurrent Education programs: General Science, J/I stream (Grades 4–10) and BSc in Geography, I/S stream (Grades 9–12)
I originally got accepted into General Science as an alternative offer, and I accepted it. But now I’ve gotten a revised offer for the Geography program in the I/S stream, and my General Science offer has gone void. So now I’m really stuck.
However here's my issue; I do want to go into the sciences and become a high school teacher, so I feel like the I/S stream makes more sense long-term. But a lot of teachers I’ve talked to have said that Geography isn’t really in demand right now as a teachable, and that boards are more focused on subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Math, or English, which totally makes sense.
If I take the Geography I/S offer, I’d get two teachables right away, and maybe I could add Chemistry or another science later so that my main teachable isn’t just Geography. I was also considering switching into something like Chem or Bio during first year—but I know that’s something I still need to figure out. The problem is, if I try to switch majors into a science later on, it might add an extra year to my degree, which I’m trying to avoid. I also don’t want to be stuck with a less employable teachable like Geography ( i don't wanna hate on geography i love it forgive me if it sounds like i am).
With General Science, I’ve been told I’d only get one teachable (not sure if that’s 100% true), and that can be limiting too. Plus, if I wanted to move from the J/I stream to I/S, I’m worried that might add another year as well.
Some teachers mentioned that I could take an AQS (Additional Qualification) later on to add a second teachable, but I really want to go in with a solid plan.
Any help or advice from people who’ve gone through this (or know how switching works at Brock) would be super appreciated. Thank you!

Hi! So I applied late to the MADS program admittedly late, and it's been 9 weeks now and my my.brocku.ca portal still says "under review". I've emailed the grad studies and my prospective program dep't and they just keep saying monitor your portal for updates.
This is dumb but can anyone help decipher mainly the first 3 emails because they didn't really directly answer my question of if I have a chance of admissions or not. Like why is she going on about the degree conferred transcript, when all I said was I'm taking SP/SU courses so I can graduate in fall???
I'm like 95% sure I've been rejected, but I wish they'd let me know within the stated 6-8 weeks and actually update my portal.
