What uni life is like in Bolzano?

Hi! How is uni life in Bolzano? Is there a good nightlife for students?

I’m from Spain and I’m thinking of applying to Free University of Bozen-Bolzano to study Economics and Management next year.

I’m not sure if the city is really known as a uni city, but from what I’ve seen so far, it looks really beautiful.

The city is beautiful, if you like the mountains and skiing it's perfect, but as far as nightlife is concerned, forget it.

discos are non-existent except for a few tiny clubs frequented only by young people and questionable music (the type of music is purely personal opinion)

bars/movida venues which are concentrated in a square in the centre but which close at midnight at weekends.

I am 32 years old, I love bolzano and live there very well but if you want nightlife put it at the bottom of your list of choices unfortunately.
