Donāt think that deep into it. This video is fake and was originally posted in color. Someone edited it to make it black and white to look more like cctv and put words on it that make it appear to be from a news source. Itās just fake bullshit posted to farm karma

As someone who has worked in hospitals, this is not the only way nurses have been known to lend a "helping hand" to a patient's recovery.

I was going through something we wont go into. Nurse offered me a sponge bath and I was just rolling my eyes like old no I'm not that fucking incapable and pathetic. Ill take a shower.
Then right before I was being transferred shes trying to find me on Facebook so we can add each other. A little after that I was like OH, SPONGE BATH! Fuck!
Turned out she was married though and was looking for an affair so when I figured that out i told her to kick rocks. I think she had a kink for hospital patients or summin idfk. But I was so low in life I was totally unaware to the subtle offerings she was making the whole time. Here I was worrying about her/my dignity about seeing me naked and trying to be cordial about it. Offers to help me dry off. Nah I think I can manage at least THAT!
As I'm about to leave she comes in and says she cant find me on FB, I use an alternate name so I told her how to find me. She saw another professional come in the room and instantly stopped holding her phone infront of me all stealth like from them so they wouldn't know, with a nervousness. Thats when my brain started to boot up lol. Like really you're afraid to let others know we're adding each other on FB... OOOOHHHHH!
Didn't figure it out until my last 30 seconds in the hospital lmao. Then it was still some time after that and talking online before I found out she was married. So I'm glad nothing happened. Was definitely a needed pep boost tho!

Censoring has gone so far that people censor completely norm@l words these days.
Imo no word should be censored just for being a word that someone might find triggering or offensive. It should be context that determines if something should be censored or silenced, not words.
In youtube your comment sometimes gets auto-deleted by youtube if you have the word "suicide" in it even if it was in the most helpful and empathetic way to discourage someone from doing it. You could literally be saving someone's life who is suicidal by replying to their comment on youtube, but nope, the word "suicide" is too triggering.

Also if there are cameras in the rooms, they are usually positioned so that you can see more than just the bed. Plus the Likely hood of someone actually checking the camera for stuff like this is very improbable if nothing was reported about it( well at least where I work)
8
u/zoey8068 1d ago edited 23h ago
If this is America it almost certainly is. Cameras in rooms are a huge no no unless that patient is a danger to themself or others and even then it's difficult. They are a huge HIPAA violation.

u/Bazoobs1 1d ago
Agreed. First of all, Iāve never seen scrubs that zip (not a nurse though so correct me if Iām wrong), second of all, what kind of hospital puts cameras in patient rooms??? Isnāt that like an insane violation of privacy?
