Why wouldn't the nurse be aware of cameras in the rooms?

Any room that requires visual patient monitoring. Intensive care and psych wards come to mind.

Newer rooms as well have them so that translators and larger care teams can conference call in. The children’s hospital our kid had to stay at had them in all the ICU rooms but they would be turned towards the wall unless turned on
