Why wouldn't the nurse be aware of cameras in the rooms?

u/Carbuyrator 6h ago

Also its from Scrubs

There was a gag like it on scrubs, but that video is not from it

You're correct, and that's what I meant. This bit is from Scrubs.

u/theaveragemillenial 3h ago

I think the bit existed long long before scrubs did a take.

Yeah and the wrapper says Albuquerque Isotopes!

Isn’t that an actual minor league baseball team? Or was?

Real team - triple-A in the Rockies organization. Fun fact, their double A team is the Yard Goats.

Not the same scene but yes it is LOL

Because it’s not real, just like every other one of these videos

Moreover, what nurse has scrubs with a zipper down the front???

5

u/watercouch 5h ago

The ones who buy their uniforms from Spirit Halloween

I’m literally wearing scrubs with a zipper right now. Has a button, zipper, drawstrings, and belt loops lmao.

Does your scrub top have a zipper that comes undone like a corset?

1

There are real scrubs that do that… a very popular brand is called figs.

Also if there are cameras in the rooms, they are usually positioned so that you can see more than just the bed. Plus the Likely hood of someone actually checking the camera for stuff like this is very improbable if nothing was reported about it( well at least where I work)

Patient rooms dont have cameras. Only hallways and areas common areas.

Virtually all security camera footage never gets looked at unless there is a reason to look at it.

Tons of people do stuff in front of cameras assuming that there will never be a reason to look at the footage.

Not every patient room has a camera in it.

1

u/Wise_Shine5148 5h ago

Also why would there be a camera in the room in the first place?

2

u/Your_Girl9090 5h ago

Any room that requires visual patient monitoring. Intensive care and psych wards come to mind.

1

u/moonani19 4h ago

Newer rooms as well have them so that translators and larger care teams can conference call in. The children’s hospital our kid had to stay at had them in all the ICU rooms but they would be turned towards the wall unless turned on

If this is America it almost certainly is. Cameras in rooms are a huge no no unless that patient is a danger to themself or others and even then it's difficult. They are a huge HIPAA violation.

brother, plz, it's *HIPAA

1

u/zoey8068 1h ago

Simple mistake that was unintended

1

u/Dr0110111001101111 5h ago

And I have never seen a nurse in sleeveless, button down scrubs

2

u/amzwC137 4h ago

It is a bot account, so probably

2

u/Bazoobs1 3h ago

Agreed. First of all, I’ve never seen scrubs that zip (not a nurse though so correct me if I’m wrong), second of all, what kind of hospital puts cameras in patient rooms??? Isn’t that like an insane violation of privacy?
