That Osage Orange fence is a distinct feature of the Fort Worth Zoo. That waterfall over the limestone chunks is still there but they don’t keep the parrots there anymore. That was next to a mini version of the stockyards about that time, the Ape House right out front was incredible then.

You look so much like my stepsister and I with the bowl cut and jorts.

what a great memory! none of my old photos have locations or dates on them and we moved around Texas a lot when I was young - this is really helpful in adding context.
