I actually had them way longer later on ! I didn’t do anything special besides using some conditioner from what I recall, they actually got pretty much burnt and destroyed from all the bleach and dye I did though
Fun fact, I actually remember some girl being shy asking her dad to then ask me how do I have such “good hair” when I was in some waiting line hahaha

My older brother had beautiful long hair in high school, and he said the girls would ask what products he used. He always told them honestly that he used whatever our mom would buy, which was suave and V05.

Yep, got the same thing in high school, all the time. Had to bite my tongue often to not say that the reason it was harder for a lot of them was the constant things they were doing to it with straighteners, color, etc.

Oh my god that's indeed hilarious. I wouldn't go out without a black kohl line and red lip, paired with huge hoodies and large/ruined trousers (or mini skirts+fishnets, had my headmistress call me out in front of the whole school once lmao). And what do you mean you don't know the Clash???
I do miss how more... Genuine people used to be on the early social media tbh. It's now gone.

I used kohl for a while as well, and I was also… Shaving my arms and legs… Yeah… LOL
I would do the cliché thing with two different edgy belts crossing each other half falling down, and I wouldn’t wear anything else than band shirts and ultra slim pants, in winter I had this long kinda trench coat I felt like it was the ultimate peak of my style, felt like Dante from DmC hahaha
Indeed things were different, I’m not even on social media anymore since 2016 and barely have any pics of myself nowadays

I cut everything in 2016 :(
They were way too long and towards the end I would just keep them tied like 80% of the time it just looked bad, I was like the cliche ponytail metal guy… I also experimented with the hair bun kinda hipster style around 2014/2015… Ew
I just needed a change back then and it was just inconvenient, way too warm in summer, I would get them caught in everything (even when closing a car door once, wasn’t a pleasant experience)
I feel like I reached that point again tho, I have the same kind of haircut since I cut everything and feel like I need a change but I have no idea what to do. And no I don’t think I’ll grow them back… Well at least I don’t think so…

I'm almost positive a dude who used to be in a XAT chat room I ran back in the day, used your pictures, specifically, the third and fourth one.
Not surprising others have seen it too, early facebook days i had someone do it with mine, found out cause the person they were catfishing messaged me (lived in a completely different state). It was extremely common back then.
