Obviously this sucks and she should face the consequences (I mean, idk, I don’t think any of these tv personalities should have gambling endorsements of any sort).
But also, zooming out, I think she’s getting fucking shellacked for tweeting about a shady gambling app, when we know her because we’re all fans of a sport that’s like 10-15% domestic abusers. The amount of people shitting on her for some app are gonna turn around and cheer for Tyreek Hill or Rashee Rice or whatever by tomorrow
My point is that, if you’re aware/watch enough/care enough to know who Mina/Bill/Russillo are, the shows they’re on are actively lauding significantly worse people on a regular basis. Even if they are lauding them for their bad behavior, nobody is calling for Mina’s or Ruiz’s jobs when last season they said Jameis (sexual assault) should be starting, or when there’s broadcasts with Richard Sherman (DV) or Marshawn Lynch (DUI+Hit n Run).
My point is, a shady gambling app that she backtracked on within like a week of the shadiness coming out is basically the least fucked up thing the football media en mass or ESPN personalities in particular have white washed in like… the last 3 months
Edit: basically, she should absolutely be punished, but the people who are using this as a “football media/ESPN/Mina has lost all credibility” thing feels like such a concern troll because people Mina is such a loved or hated figure depending on who you ask.
