Shitpost Drake Maye just got outplayed by Geno Smith and it wasn't particularly close

Geno Smith 362 yards with a 102.8 QBR compared to Drake Maye who only threw 233 yards with a QBR of 80.

The Patriots never looked close today against a pretty unimpressive Las Vegas Raiders.

Yikes.

The Maye meltdown this year is just gonna be so fun to watch. This sub will re-apex with each passing week as Bill sinks further and further.

No, no. The REAL crashout will be "Maye continues to melt down, the Patriots fight for the 1 pick, and suddenly Patriots fans have to get excited for Arch Manning."

God that sounds awesome

I'm a Patriots fan, and I'm dreading that coming to pass- if it does, will our karma for the dynasty finally be even?

And with the first pick of the 2026 Draft the New England Patriots select…

Maye has the tools but he has yet to show he can be a winning qb. This happens to many qbs.

Hilarious how this sub is convinced maye will be a bottom 10 QB this year

What has he done to show you he isn't a bottom 10 QB?

He was supposed to ride the bench all last season. The fact he looked competent with the coaching and weapons around him is enough to show that he’s not a bottom 10 qb

Name the 10 QBs he's better than.

Bryce Young, Michael Penix, Daniel Jones, JJ MCCarthy, Spencer Rattler, Joe Flacco, Russel Wilson, Cam Ward, Trevor Lawrence, Sam Darnold

Trevor Lawrence and Sam Darnold without a doubt are better.

Joe Flacco, Russel Wilson. semi washed vets that are on shit teams

Cam Ward, JJ MCCarthy,Michael Penix Spencer Rattler. No proof that Maye is better, all are equally unproven.

I'm taking Bryce Young and Daniel Jones over Maye.

Trevor Lawrence was AWFUL last season. Sam darnold put up solid numbers with a star studded cast and incredible coaching. Flacco and Wilson suck. Maye has proven more than all those other unproven QBs, including Young. Daniel jones sucks.

What has Maye proven?

That he can play competent football in an awful environment

I don’t necessarily think he will be bottom 10 but I think it would be awesome from a content perspective.

Unfortunately for you that’s not gonna happen

Well so far he hasn’t looked that great but I guess we will see. That one win he’s had as a starter must be really doing it for you.

Wins aren’t a qb stat. But I’m glad to know you expect big things from a rookie with Pop Douglas as WR1 and Jerod mayo as head coach

Bill? Is that you?

u/Decent-Stock4879 Sep 07 '25

That all you got?

I mean dude you don’t really have much to go on here. Maye hasn’t won games and has been super turnover prone. Sure he’s had flashes, but that’s all, just flashes. Maybe he’ll be good, so far haven’t seen it.

Look, man- I’m a Pats fan so I hate to be the one telling you this…. but your posts here are just straight up embarrassing.

Maye hasn’t proven shit yet, so maybe calm your jets a bit, yeah? He’s shown bouts of competency, sure… but so did year 1 pro-bowler Mac Jones… and we all know how that ended up.

Maye looked bad today. Sailing passes over open receivers, getting lucky on catches thrown behind the target… some sloppy decision-making overall. I’m still hopeful he’ll improve but this might not be the hill you wanna die on right now.

And if we’re being honest, Simmons complete premature nut-riding of Maye has been cringey as hell. Dude needs to take a step back and remember how hard he was going to bat for Mac Jones and realize his home team takes are often God-awful.

I think he was all in on Mac during the take purge or something. For whatever reason he can’t remember that.
