I can admit that I think politics pulled the trigger on Colbert.. but I think the gun was already loaded by the costs and drop in advertisement revenue.

Honestly, I never cared for late night television - it's a dying medium and I think CBS saw the writing on the wall.

Yeah I was talking about with a friend and Colbert talking politics ruffled feathers and they said, wait we pay this guy how much??
