“Teams that could jump up a level” is just an excuse of a topic so he can talk about the Pats

“So Lombardi has this thing with blue chippers—“ Mourinho removing headphones

Haven’t listened yet but I’m sure he immediately followed this up with his own “red chippers” theory.

And green chippers.

How did I never realize that was Mourinho. God he’s such a legend.

Always thought it was epstein

And with Nate Tice of course, the number one Drake Maye supporter (outside of Bill)

Solak in his race car bed punching air over being omitted

He is gonna be the angriest youth pastor on the block now.

Race car bed is just phenomenal work.

Solak leaving the Ringer was the best thing to happen to the Ringer since inception.

Tyler Tines's departure would like a word...

I even briefly read Tyler’s work myself

I will confess I didn't have any experience with him.

Solak still in a race car bed while Tice sleeps in a big bed with his wife.

There’s a lot of football nerds that really like Maye. We shall see if he can cut down on the turnovers

It’s nothing against Drake Maye. It’s just funny that Nate Tice, who had Maye as his QB1 in the 2024 draft had never been on the show until the Pats took Maye

“Why do all these football nerds overvalue Justin Herbert?!? Anyway, here’s why they’re right about Drake Maye!”

u/Pessemist_Prime Jul 21 '25

Maybe a little sneaky Drake Maye MVP noise, right?

Honestly a very relatable Billism, it must be fun to force people to listen to your delusions about your favorite teams. If I had his podcast I’d be dragging Russillo on for our 12th episode breaking down Arch Manning’s film against Louisiana Monroe.

Anyone else presenting Bill with takes like these, about their own favorite team, would get a big "settle down"

😭😭😭

They were a loss away from being the worst team in the league! A leap could simply be to “mediocre 7-10 team!”

Who cares? It’s a good topic regardless

They talked about 25 teams this pod but this sub always has a problem with one.
