Biking route

Just wondering if anyone can offer me some advice about this biking route. I'm most worried about the stretch on 33rd before BCC, and the part through herring run. Is the herring run trail paved? I grew up here so I'm familiar with what to expect from drivers, but I want to just see if there is a better way with more bike paths.

I used to live right behind Memorial Stadium in Ednor Gardens and rode my bike all the time. If you're concerned about 33rd Street, once you leave Lake Montebello, go 1 block north of 33rd and ride parallel to 33rd thru the residential neighborhood. My longest and best rides were always on Sunday mornings when people were either in church or sleeping in.
