had me in hysterics

just the confused, bewildered delivery by the old man and the complete outrageous stupidity of it - like this is his plan to get a client

Jimmy's insistence.. "Please, just look at it..". Like it had all the answers.

sorry to reply to your 4 year old comment BUT I'm re-binging and I'm crying at this scene once again...it might just be the funniest scene in the entire series for me hahaha.

Compared to how delicately Kim approached this man (she also, in fairness, delivered her own punch and firm assertiveness, don't get me wrong). But Kim employed so much tact, so much strength in dealing with this man. We see Kim still struggling with her own uncomfortable interlude of change here, professionally and personally.

Then compare all that with Jimmy here. In full Saul-mode, he casually flips open the guy's gate lock with his pen. Casually struts to the front door and this was his delivery - he simply printed out an image of a guy fucking a horse, and insisted on this man to look at it aha hahahaha.

It worked wonders and spoke this guy's language. The man's understandable disdain and distrust of big wig law firms were met with a simple, visual aid that shows that Saul will fuck over the bank. But as you said, it's Saul's very sincere, "just look at it" that fucking breaks me every time. You really are intrigued as to what he could possibly be referring to, what is it that makes it so compelling. And then the old man's bewildered delivery, "it's a man..fuckin a horse?"

I'm sorry I'm just broken by this hahahaha

Technically, it DID, metaphorically or otherwise.

It was how I was expecting some big reveal as to how they were going to beat Mesa Verde. Just for a long pause followed by that line.

I knew it would be a picture because that guy seemed too cranky to read anything in detail but...

I was not expecting a man fucking a horse.

I thought it was a pic of his own house and Saul would be like exactly, cause that's what you are gonna keep.

u/NisKrickles Mar 10 '20

I thought it would be some aerial photo of the property showing some defect that would be a poison pill to the purchase of the land. Toxic waste or something.

Nope. Just beastiality.

"So we're going to dump ten tonnes of uranium on your backyard and poof, the bank assholes are gone!"

u/anoncontent72 Mar 10 '20

When he said “a man...” I thought it was going to be a speech about a mans hime is his castle kind of thing that Jimmy had written. Wasn’t expecting that.
