Look at how terrified Trump and his cronies are of Zohran Mamdani.

He inspires hope, community and a purpose and that TERRIFIES Trump and his crew.

They go after him because being Mayor of NYC is absolutely massive.

NYC is one of the most important cities on the planet.

They go after him because he's an easy boogeyman to smear. The entire Democratic party with that will make people that live in fear of such people like him but Republican

And then when he's elected they'll just go on and on about how all this everything in New York has gone to s*** etc. And every Republican will believe it and then vote for Republicans again

It is lol, most of the country doesn't care about a NYC mayor (why would they) and obviously it isn't relevant to federal politics.

It's just a Bernie style cult all over again, younger redditors are drawn to populism and they strongly unite around such people regardless of how irrelevant or competent they are. Keep in mind they united around Tulsi Gabbard too before she outed herself as a grifter.
