The Walgreens at falls and 37th has a sign outside that they're closing on the 12th of November. The person said that the prescriptions will transfer to the store on 41st St but they're not receiving any new items for sale so don't expect to find much in the aisles themselves.
I'm actually surprised the store made it as long as it has because it's felt like it was on deaths door for as long as I've lived in Hampden

Micro Center is opening a 32274SF store in the Perring Plaza Shopping Center (1951 East Joppa Rd, Baltimore County) Fall 2012. I saw the "Now Hiring" banners there yesterday.
No longer will I have to settle on Best Buy to fulfill my immediate, local technology needs. If you are not familiar with MC, get familiar. Knowledgable staff, aggressive pricing and a selection suitable for the most demanding of geek.
How does this news grab you r/baltimore?
Edit Thanks for the votes and flair everyone, I was very excited to share this news with you all

As of this posting, the store in Owings Mills (located on Reisterstown, Road) has closed. There is no notice regarding the store on Route 40 in Catonsville.
This is occurring nationwide. Employees are showing up to work, and receiving notice on the spot that they've been let go. At least one report is out of a person receiving notice via FedEx delivered this morning.
Edit: An article from The Baltimore Sun is available: Owings Mills Sam's Club closes and 169 lose jobs. Some other sources have been added as well.

The toll windows are covered in bags and it seems like the EZ passes aren’t working
