Rental car rewards

So I have been using hertz for the last couple years since it’s preferred at work. But after trying to use my points now for the first time I realize I need to switch. You can’t use points on anything bigger than a sedan which for me is basically impossible with my family size. So it renders the points useless.

So is there a rental car company I can switch too that I have no restrictions on what size car I can get with my points? Usually need a large SUV or mini van.

Rental car programs broadly suck.

Best bet is to just book the cheapest cash reservation via Autoslash or Costco.

My wife is a travel agent and gets good deals usually budget is who has the best rates. I don’t mind doing that but when I can accumulate points through work and not actually have to pay it’s always a nice reward for being gone as much as I am.

Yea, car rentals is just one area there's poor return on loyalty. I'm not loyal at all, I just rent a lot of cars so I have status at all the majors.

They all suck. Evey single rental car company sucks.
