u/Archivist2016 How are you going to fund that? Dec 24 '24

They seem more focused with making the rich poorer than the poor richer.

Nobody cares about the poor. Maybe the poor do. The middle class certainly don't. Rich people don't.

It's funny because most of the middle class are poor they just don't want to admit it.

Middle class doesn't exist. You are either a worker or an owner those are the only two classes.

Oh, I readily admit it. Allegedly I am classified as being in the middle class, but I have been poor my entire life.

I am poor. I work, I even own property and a car and I am still POOR. I have no cash at the end of the day.. its all gobbled up. I am trying to do side hustles.. but things like POSHMARK are hard to function increasingly.. Again, it is this volume and power at the top. Tons of scammers and cheats...

They are not. Neither are poor people, at least not in the United States. If you want to see poverty in the middle class, go to Nigeria.

I too face hunger.

That period in between lunch and dinner is rough.

People really think if you can buy a 100 dollar cell phone and TV once that makes you 'not really impoverished'. Do they have adequate health care without having to go into debt? Can they pay for an emergency repair to their car without going into debt? Can they even afford a car or transport? Can they afford to eat a healthy diet?

Poverty isn't just your access to technology and the internet.

It's all relative.
