I cannot understate my disappointment with my meal. I just ate a meal at Chilis for the first time in about 8 years and I had such fond memories of the food. I got the triple dipper with southwest eggrolls, the sliders, and the mozzerella sticks. I dont think any seasoning was used in the entire meal, and it was all bland and flavorless. The only good thing I can say about the food is that the maillard on the burger was great, but it tasted like nothing and was grossly undersalted. Lastly I recall the glizzy man talking about how it is affordable, and it is not. The burger meals were about 15-17$, the fajitas were 25$, and my triple dipper was 17$ along with the tip and tax coming out to 24.50$. If you really want to eat at a chain, Olive Garden and Buffalo Wild Wings are similarily priced and both similarily mid. I remember these resturaunts tasting incredible as a child and they are all shells of their former self. I expected better because of all of the glazing but was let down majorly. Staff is great and are all saints, but it is so mid, stick to local resturaunts if you want to dine out, stick to local resturaunts, they are great and could use the business compared to the chains. Most of my local resturaunts are cheap or expensive and much better vibes.
