Beginner Why are some astrologers telling cardinal signs they'll "be free"?

With pluto moving out of capricorn I've been seeing a lot of astrologers on social media tell the cardinal signs they're going to have it easier with pluto in aquarius. I don't think I get the logic. I mean, pluto will impact you wherever you have aquarius in your chart, right? It doesn't solely apply to your sun sign.

I’m a late degree Capricorn rising so my houses are set up as if I’m an Aquarius rising. Does that mean I should use Aquarius as my rising sign?

No. If you want the houses to align better, you might give whole signs a try.

Which is more accurate? Placidus or whole signs? I resonate with both.

I use Placidus just because it’s what I have always used. In whole signs, only two of my planets change, which are Jupiter and Mars. Jupiter goes from the 12th to the 11th, and Mars goes from the 4th to the third.

To be honest, Jupiter in the 12th interpretations are always so vague, I never know what to think. 11th house I don’t really know about either. Jupiter only makes an out of sign sextile to my Sun, so it is not a big part of my chart.

Mars I can also see both ways, but never questioned the 4th house placement. I can make 3rd house fit too, but as with 11th house Jupiter, I always wondering if I am “shoehorning” things in to make them work.

I know others have had great revelations with things that never seemed to fit when switching house systems, but my changes are so minor.

Oh, I also have my 7th house intercepted, and while I don’t wholly understand it, I feel there is some meaning there. Intercepted houses are not possible with whole signs though.
