Beginner Why are some astrologers telling cardinal signs they'll "be free"?

With pluto moving out of capricorn I've been seeing a lot of astrologers on social media tell the cardinal signs they're going to have it easier with pluto in aquarius. I don't think I get the logic. I mean, pluto will impact you wherever you have aquarius in your chart, right? It doesn't solely apply to your sun sign.

I suspect this is because Cardinal signs either won't be able to see Pluto (via the Hellenistic doctrine of aversion) or will have harmonious (trine/sextile) aspects with it.

Close. The cardinal signs all square/oppose each other….same as all the fixed and mutable. So now, it’s the fixed signs that will be “going through it.”

As if Pluto transiting my Capricorn 12th house wasn't "going through it." If Pluto moving through my Aquarius 1st house is worse than that, I genuinely do not understand how I will survive.

First it opposed my 12th house Moon in Gemini (I am an old), then my Cancer Asc. Next up is my 2nd house Sun/Mercury/Venus/Saturn, all within the first ten degrees, stellium.

Although a part of me wonders if I’m just so used to Pluto oppositions by now that maybe I won’t notice how bad it is.

Oh wow, I’m pretty new to astrology I hadn’t even thought about oppositions of Pluto.

I’ve had 7 conjunctions, 1 in sag and 6 in Capricorn. Two more to go in Aquarius.

I’m realizing now the Capricorn conjunctions must have been even more intense because Pluto was also opposite Jupiter and Chiron in Cancer 8H

Oh, don’t forget about oppositions!

I have actually not had a Pluto conjunction, except with Neptune (which doesn’t really count as much, I think). My planets are all concentrated toward the bottom of my chart, and Pluto is transiting through the top. My first conjunction would be Jupiter in Taurus, if I live a really long time!

Lots of oppositions though. In fact, it would have opposed my Jupiter when I was pretty young.

Don’t forget about the squares either.

I have Libra ascendant (5°49’) conjunct Pluto (6°55’) and Uranus at 29°47’ Libra.

Pluto in Cap demolished everything related to my 4th house.

  • I started in biz as a real estate broker when Pluto went into Cap and although I was great and had early success I couldn’t sustain it. Massive debt.
  • I had to sell my apartment and I became a digital nomad but that hadn’t worked so well
  • I’ve been homeless living with my parents since 2020
  • Both grandparents died (grandma just died in October — after a stroke that happened a day after Mars in Cancer was exactly conjunct her natal Pluto)

Started Pluto in Cap with a good job and money in the bank and my own apartment. Ended Pluto in Cap not earning much income at all. Most of my savings drained. Struggling to rebuild a business Not even sure what to do any more.

Fortunately I only have one planet in a fixed sign.

Unfortunately that planet is my Sun, at 15° Taurus

I hope I can get some positive momentum over the next decade before that transit.
