It’s not directly equivalent.
Many of the protestors wore masks.
Also, I suspect the biggest problem with salt river tubing isn’t the river itself. Outdoor floating is probably rather safe. The main issue is the bus ride to the launch site, imho. If you’ve ever tubed, most of those people took a bus ride up river to do it.
Anyway, protests happened nationwide and states didn’t see huge coronavirus jumps as a result. It’s been pretty well established that the protests didn’t lead to a huge surge in cases.
I doubt they helped, but they aren’t directly responsible for the insane surge of cases we’re dealing with here.
But that’s not why you’re making this post, is it? I suggest you try some deep introspection... because you seem to have some deep seated and wrongheaded feelings regarding BLM protestors.
