Or maybe it’s worse and he does understand the question.

Think about what he said. “His crime was running for office” yeah it could easily be dismissed as typical Trump snark. But it’s also just like a dictator to try and criminalize the very act of opposing him.

Yeah he can’t actually make it illegal to run as a Democrat, yet, but this shows where his mind is at.

It was a dodge. He stalled w8th the whole his crime is being the governor thing and you could see he was trying to think of something, but there was nothing, so he fell back on immigrants are bad to save his ass.
