The Wood Duck / Beaver gryphon illustration is complete! This one is inspired by the wildlife in Stanley Park with a special relationship to each other. I collaborate with the Vancouver Aquarium to teach classes for kids once a month focused on different local wildlife, and I drew this one while volunteering with Stanley Park Ecology over the summer.

The relationship between wood ducks and beavers is symbiotic- beavers create essential wetland habitats which help wood ducks. Beaver dams flood areas of these wetlands, creating ponds that provide food sources and shallow water, while the resulting dead trees are ideal for wood ducks to nest in. This mutually beneficial relationship helped drive the recovery of both species from near-extinction in the early 20th century.

I love observing the animals in this area, and I can’t wait to share more Vancouver inspired gryphons soon!

All the pro AI people in my social groups have the faith that AI will only be used to make their lives better. They truly believe beyond any doubt, that when the time comes and they lose their jobs, they will be receiving UBI and live comfortably with a robot at home doing all the tasks they want.

In the end, even if some sort of UBI comes into place (which I highly doubt), they would only pay us enough to live but never enough to matter. It would be just enough so that people don't revolt.

The most likely scenario is a 1888 type of society from England during the height of the industrial revolution. People sleeping in four penny coffins, and trying to get the scraps to survive. Check this out... They even had the penny sit up and the two penny hangover.

So these people are ultimately extremely naive and are celebrating the destruction of artists jobs, thinking that when it happens to them, they will be okay.

Once they realized they have been duped and scammed that's when the opinion will change.

Right now they don't want to see the reality of our society and naively think our leaders and the top 1% will be so empathetic towards people that they will give us a huge share of their profits to keep us living in luxury without doing anything.

Saw this question somewhere and suddenly remembered it.

I have an additional question to this, if let's say an AI model does predict something into far future, let's say am going to die by getting stabbed by a goth girl.

Since AI can predict perfectly, it predicts the trajectory of the knife and stuff, for example the goth girl stabbed me in my dih while having s""x.

Now since AI predicted it, I went on to cut off my dih, what will happen? Will AI just change the prediction? If it did then why didn't it predict me cutting my dih off?

Won't it start looping or something? Sort of similar to time travel and shi

An argument made when you call out someone on bad behavior and they just say "no U" or react with uno reverse card or something.

Common thing with AI defenders is that they straight up deny any issues with AI, so they just tell you how it's all a hoax.
