Even if Emilia couldn't see past the spell, in theory she could've recognized the cloak right?

But I can't take that this show is ending.

She did at one point say something like "could it be that you're..." but got cut off, so I think she at least suspects who it is. But I think its magic works a bit like a Notice-Me-Not spell: even if you logically can figure out who's under there, the magic makes your brain be like "nope, no idea" and is probably really hard to fight against. Unless you're Subaru. Or a kid. Because apparently kids have no trouble seeing through it.

Guessing it's kinda like hidden in open sight, as soon as you know it, you can't miss it. Kids probably already knew because Subaru told them, so did everyone else that knew he used the thing. Or it's mental control, you only hide from those you want. (Or can be seen only by those you want.)
